Exciting News from Berea Municipal Utilities
We’re rolling out a new Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) project for electric and water meters within our service area!
What does this mean for you?
✅ More tools for you to monitor your water and energy usage
✅ Faster detection of outages and leaks
✅ Improved customer service and reliability
Electric meter installations will begin soon and will take place in phases throughout our service area. Water meters changeouts will soon follow. Our crews and authorized contractors will be in clearly marked vehicles.
No one needs to be home for the meter upgrade. However, we will knock on each door to make you aware when the meters are changed.
There is no cost to customers for this upgrade.
